For more than 35 years, Styromat AG has been a reliable contact for the made-to-measure Swiss development and production of customer-specific solutions for electronics and systems. As a production and technology company based in Eastern Switzerland, we are proud to have been allowed to serve satisfied customers from a vast array of sectors at home and abroad over a period of many years. OUR HISTORY
2020
Jonas Krüsi becomes a share-holding business partner. Modernisation of the building facade and of a few areas of the interior.
Founding of Styromat Peter Schlotterbeck as a sole proprietorship in Herisau AR. Development of electronic control units for machines and systems
1983
1987
Change of registered office address to Amriswil TG. Moving into new building and extending the production area.
Changing of the sole proprietorship into what is now Styromat AG, a public limited company.

Building and moving into additional company premises for Development and Production. Purchase of a fully automated SMD insertion machine.
Expansion of production to create the first active ultrasonic spray flux wave soldering facility in Switzerland.

Expansion of the electronics development unit and structural adjustments to the workplace operations.
QS certification in accordance with ISO 9001.
Relocation to Weinfelderstrasse 113 in Amriswil with more than 3,000 square metres of industrial floor space. Purchase of another SMD insertion machine and expansion of the production area.

Purchase of an AOI inspection system for automatic checking of insertion and soldering points.
Investment in a class 10,000 clean room and a Zestron cleaning system.

Purchase of various new items to add to our range of machines, test systems and development tools in order to modernise and optimise the Development and Production departments.
Transfer of ownership of this traditional company to its new proprietor and CEO, Lukas Krüsi.

Development Director Jonas Krüsi joins the company.
Successful recertification in accordance with ISO 9001:2015. Expansion of the Development department and commissioning of an ERSA SMARTFLOW 2020 selective soldering system.
